One Oceania is opening Expressions of Interest for performers to take the stage at our inaugural Spring 2027 Runway "VOYAGES".

Our runway is more than fashion. One Oceania brings together fashion, music, movement, culture and performance to create an experience that celebrates the creativity and diversity of Oceania.

We welcome new, emerging and established performers, including:

• Singers & Vocalists

• Solo Dancers

• Dance Groups & Crews

• Cultural Dance Groups

• Musicians & Instrumentalists

• Bands & Musical Groups

• Spoken Word Artists & Poets

• Cultural Performers

• Contemporary Performers

• Other unique performance acts

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Selected performers should be ready to:

• Bring a strong performance style, identity and stage presence

• Present an act suitable for the One Oceania runway experience

• Bring their own creative and cultural perspective where relevant

• Respect the cultural significance of any songs, dances, traditions, stories or practices represented

• Work collaboratively with the One Oceania creative and production teams

• Meet agreed rehearsal, soundcheck and performance times

• Provide music, backing tracks and other performance material by agreed deadlines

• Communicate any equipment, staging or technical requirements in advance

• Participate in rehearsals and promotional content where required

• Bring a professional, respectful and collaborative attitude throughout the experience

NO PERFORMER PARTICIPATION FEE: SPRING 2027

As Spring 2027 marks the debut of One Oceania, there will be no application or participation fee for performers taking part in our inaugural runway.

We want to create a platform where performers have the opportunity to share their talent, culture and creativity with a wider audience, while contributing to an event that brings together different parts of Oceania's creative community.

Whether you are stepping onto a major stage for the first time or already have performance experience, we encourage you to show us what you can bring to One Oceania.

PERFORMER SELECTION

There is no fixed number of performer positions for our inaugural runway.

The number and type of performers selected will be determined by One Oceania at its discretion and will depend on:

• The overall creative direction of VOYAGES

• The type and length of each performance

• Runway programming and timing

• Stage and production requirements

• The variety of performances being presented

• How each act complements the overall One Oceania experience

As much as we would love to provide a stage for everyone who applies, submitting an Expression of Interest does not guarantee selection.

SHOW US YOUR TALENT

Your application is your opportunity to show us who you are, what you do and what makes your performance unique.

Applicants will be asked to provide:

• A performance video, showreel and/or examples of previous performances

• Details about your performance style or act

• The number of performers involved if applying as a group

• The approximate duration of your performance

• Any music, equipment, staging or technical requirements

• Information about your creative or cultural connection, where relevant

• Why you would like the opportunity to perform at One Oceania

• What you believe your performance would bring to the One Oceania stage

You do not need to be an established professional to apply. We welcome new and emerging talent alongside experienced performers.

2. Provide a performance video, showreel and/or examples of your work

3. Provide details of your act, group and performance requirements

4. Tell us why you and your performance belong on the One Oceania stage

Applications will be reviewed as part of our selection process, with shortlisted performers invited to take the next step with the One Oceania team.
