One Oceania is opening Expressions of Interest for designers to showcase their work at our inaugural Spring 2027 Runway: "VOYAGES".
Our runway has been created to provide a platform for designers from across Oceania to bring their creativity, culture and individual perspective to the stage. We welcome both emerging and established designers and encourage applications from across our diverse Pacific communities.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Selected designers should be ready to:
- Present an original runway collection interpreting our 2027 theme, VOYAGES
- Bring a strong creative identity, story and vision
- Design and produce their collection ready for the runway
- Draw from their own cultural connections and Pacific influences where appropriate
- Respect the cultural significance of traditions, patterns, stories and practices represented in their work
- Meet agreed deadlines for collection preparation and fittings
- Collaborate with One Oceania models or with models of your own if approved, creatives and production teams
- Participate in fittings, rehearsals, promotional content and other agreed runway requirements
SHOW US YOUR VISION
As part of your application, we want to see who you are as a designer and what you could bring to the One Oceania runway.
Applicants will be asked to provide a portfolio or examples of previous designs and/or a short video introducing themselves, their creative vision and why they would like to be one of our six selected designers.
You do not need to have an established label or extensive industry experience. We are interested in creativity, originality, cultural connection, potential and the story behind your work.
NO DESIGNER PARTICIPATION FEE: SPRING 2027
As Spring 2027 marks the debut of One Oceania, we have chosen to waive all designer participation fees for our inaugural runway.
We want our first event to create a genuine opportunity for designers whose talent, creativity and stories may not always have access to a platform where they can be seen and celebrated.
By removing the participation fee for our first year, we hope to make the opportunity more accessible while bringing together designers who believe in the vision of One Oceania and want to help establish a platform that can continue creating opportunities for Pacific creatives into the future.
ONLY SIX DESIGNERS WILL BE SELECTED
As much as we would love to showcase every designer who applies, our inaugural runway will feature only six selected designers.
Each designer will bring their own interpretation of VOYAGES, creating a runway shaped by different cultures, stories and creative perspectives from across Oceania.

HOW TO APPLY
To be considered for One Oceania Spring 2027, you will need to:
- Submit an Expression of Interest
- Complete the Designer Application Form provided to you
- Provide your portfolio/design examples and/or introductory video
- Tell us why you and your designs belong on the One Oceania runway
- Submit to apply@oceaniaofficial.com
Applications will be reviewed carefully, with selected designers invited to move forward with the One Oceania team.
